Also I cant think of a single good reason why betting flop is better than checking.

bet this flop all day.

why?

because pfr raiser checked it. if he had anything he would of bet.

you can steal the pot a large % of the time here.

I have seen this on a lot of posts. Could someone explain this to me? You don't have ANY reads whatsoever on the preflop raiser. Is this something you should always assume about an unknown? What if he loved to check-raise? What if he has a high pocket pair and feels that if he bets, he chases everyone off on a dry flop?

I agree with stealing if you have reads, but I don't get doing it without reads. Maybe someone could explain it to me.

obviously ur going to get played back at some of the time. but a lot of people forget how hard is to make a hand, most of the time you bet here you take it down no questions asked.

Betting this flop is bad, speedlimits. With no reads and up against a shortstack who should CRAI if he caught any piece of this flop.
Random opponents are also pretty damn passive at these stakes so the PFR often doesn't cbet a lot of hands that he won't fold.

cbetting vs. shortstacks at these stakes has been total suicide for me so far. i will semi-bluff/call shove occasionally if i have a big draw etc., but would def. check behind and try to freecard into the gutshot.

I'm not betting this flop. I think you played the hand fine, raising more on the turn is committing him anyway so if you're gonna raise more you might as well shove
