UB 200K: Short-stacked on the bubble with TT
118 left, 110 pay out
Blinds are 400-800 with 100 ante, i've got ~5k left. Villain is emptyseat88(Fischman?), w/ ~8k left, raises to 2k UTG+1. I've got TT in the cutoff. Obviously, calling is...

Re: UB 100+9 - Tough Spot With JJ
FWIW, villain had QQ, and i was lucky to escape with chips. I feel like I lost about as little as I could lose in this spot.
Not to be results-oriented, but it was for this exact kind of...

Re: UB 100+9 - Tough Spot With JJ
So no one here considers the big-stack factor? I don't think the average player would try to continue a bluff, and I don't think they would think 66-TT were any good after a flat call of such a big...

Re: UB 100+9 - Tough Spot With JJ
I'm sorry, I left out some important information. The avg stack at the time was ~7000, my 14k put me 3rd on the leaderboard, villain was 2nd. He was the only one in a position to call behind me,...

UB 100+9 Tourney, 77 on button
Sorry, no HH, but it was pretty straightforward.
Blinds 150-300, avg stack 6k, still a ways to the money. I've been raising a lot, mostly picking up blinds, haven't shown much down recently.
7...

Re: 4/180 .. confused
I call here. As played he looks like medium pp or a couple of clubs. Any pp that beat you, even if played tricky, probably pushes pf after you show enough interest to reraise.

Re: Karma or being a douche?
To be honest, as a rule I don't say anything unless it's in my favor. If he doesn't see it, that's his problem, not mine. It certainly doesn't hurt when they're an [censored]. But does this make...

Re: Favorite Atlantic City Casino
Everyone should play at the Taj at least once. Yeah, the chips are a bit grimy, and they have their share of old people, but I still like playing there every now and then. Always a good selection...

UB 100NL: Did I misplay these jacks?
Sat down at a .50-1.00 NL game at UltimateBet, playing for the first time after cashing out of Party(ty frist).
Anyway, MP raises to 3.50, CO calls, I call with JJ out of the SB. Flop is JsQhKh. ...

Re: 4 man Headsup PSTARS Bankroll?
That's true, but you will also win less often. Suppose you're 60% to win in any given HU match. You will be 36% to win any given 4-man HU. 60% of 2(buy-ins) is 1.2, and 36% of 4 is 1.44. So ROI...

Re: ($22 Stars) 2 hands; Are these pushes?
The first I would fold. Many will assume a steal here (which it is), and could easily call with most Aces, good Kings, and most PP. You don't have enough chips to put a real scare into them, so...

Tournament Rules on Party Poker
Ran into a situation playing a SNG on party today. Don't have HH, but not really necessary.
Blinds at 100-200, UTG raises to 400, I call, and BB pushes, a raise of 75 more. UTG reraises over...
