Default UB 200K: Short-stacked on the bubble with TT

118 left, 110 pay out

Blinds are 400-800 with 100 ante, i've got ~5k left. Villain is emptyseat88(Fischman?), w/ ~8k left, raises to 2k UTG+1. I've got TT in the cutoff. Obviously, calling is out of the question. I'm pretty sure this is a clear fold, but I was curious to hear opinions. Have at it.

It depends on you: if you want money - fold, if you are playing to win - push.

It surprises me how many good pros refuse to shove when they have 10BBs or less. I'm not saying Fischman is one of them. In fact, I will often make a raise like this with the very bottom of my shoving range because it scares the crap out of people. But on average, you see a lot of open-liming and standard raising by respected "TV pros" with a stack less than 10BBs.

Anyway, I put his range at something like AJs+/88+. I think you're OK to get it in here, but TT is like the bare minimum.

You have really close to no chance to get to the decent money.
You have a really good chance (75%) to make it to the cheap money. and at least win enough to enter two more tourneys.
So it comes down to your bankroll.
If the entry fees don't matter go for the long shot.

plus you are likely waaaaaaaaaaaaay behind. which makes you run for more money an even longer shot.

When this short I would prefer to be first to enter a pot with any two than calling with a mid pair.

Stand by for the 'go only for the win every time answer', it will be along shortly.

I don't see why to fold even on the bubble . I want to build a stack. Push and if you lose, whatever, you werent going far anyway.

Wow Jekyll and Hyde in the same post...

as for the hand, i don't get why Fischman wouldn't just shove, but i get it in here vs him all day. he does weird/bad stuff.

also, hyde

if he calls, and wins here he's got almost 20bb's, which is fine. Also, 5bb's with these antes, it's not a lock that he could fold in.
