Croupier and Lone Star were both very good.

District B-13 I haven't seen mentioned yet. It's an action movie, french I think. Has some great action/chase scenes, and an interesting enough script.

Feet roughly shoulder width apart, one foot slightly ahead of the other.
Square up to the (bag/person/watermelon) you're punching, hips/shoulder basically...
