Default What kind of energy drink should I first try?

I've never had even a sip of an energy drink in my life to this point, but would like to try some since I'm looking for a way to stop being so sluggish in the afternoon.

What recommendations would you have? I want something that won't be overpowering in taste, and also won't make me completely wired.

I drink Red Bull constantly. It tastes a little strong, but nowhere near as nasty as some of the other energy drinks (I'm thinking of the Rockstar drinks, or generally anything in a giant can). It'll pep you up for sure, especially if you have never drank them before.

Also, are energy drinks good with playing poker, or does it make you too wired?

I wouldn't play for a lot of $ the first time you try an energy drink, but personally I always drink them when I play (either in person or online), unless I'm drinking beer (usually in person). It's not like an amphetamine, but it will definitely give you a little pick-me-up.

The new Enviga, the berry flavor in particular, is quite good. It claims to do all kinds of great things for you, too, like burn calories.
