Re: 5CD - Keeping a kicker with AA ?
The bonus that was missed (although I don't believe in drawing 2 here):
When your opponent makes 2 pair, they are much less likely to bet into a raising draw 3 than a raising draw 2. So...

Re: 5cd limit hand
I'd keep the QQ66 and draw 1. I'm not breaking it, and I'm folding it postdraw unimproved.
I like to draw to hands that I'm confident will be best if possible. I'd feel good firing the 3rd bet...

Re: Stars 5CD daily tourneys (low content)
I think if someone is getting blinded out on a regular basis, they probably aren't being aggressive enough. If its a big time cold deck, so be it...but one thing that stands out to me, is that the...

Re: Stars 5CD daily tourneys (low content)
Won the 1:15 again today. Seems like if you can avoid running into monsters, and stay aggressive preflop with good value bets postflop, you can give yourself a shot to win everytime you play. I've...

Re: 5c Draw traffic??
In regards to the cash games, a big part of it is that there are very few people who are willing to play headsup draw. So only a few people are relied on to get tables started. I find once I sit at...

Re: Laydown against obvious flush
This is why I don't like putting many chips into the pot post draw.
You have to figure the guy in the SB is drawing to something. I would think he'd raise 2 pair with one limper...maybe not, but...

Re: Stars 5CD daily tourneys (low content)
My generic strategy was to play an aggressive predraw game. Barring a monster which you can't count on all the time, this is where the value is. Seems a lot of people are waiting for the magic pat...

Re: Appropriate draw play?
Original raiser puts in 2 small bets. Caller puts in 2 small bets. SB puts in .5 small bets. You already put in 1 small bet. And its one small bet to you.

Re: Appropriate draw play?
It was jokish advice. But I don't know if flat out horrible is fitting. Maybe not appropriate for .50/1.00, and certainly not a regular action to take, but if the unknowns in the equation about the...

Re: Appropriate draw play?
3 bet it and stand pat! The guy UTG will want to call, but will be worried when the guy to act after him (and before you) draws one, and the draw 1 guy will not improve and fold too.

Re: Value Betting in PL draw (tourney)
2nd one seems a little tight. If the cutoff is calling and drawing 4, tough to expect much from him. On top of which, it seems to be genetically ingrained in newer players to bet pots checked to...

Blind Man's Bluff. If he couldn't figure out you knew he could see your cards, that would have to put you at a serious advantage.

Re: Should better votes have more weight?

However 10% vs. 0.2% is much more of a dramatic difference than anything such as wealth or education is ever shown to account for.
Also, there aren't barbarians in warcraft. Even if...

Do you think a poor black innercity neighborhood is crimeridden because they are baptists? Or is it more likely the fact they live in poverty and have limited education.
I suspect the elitest...

The 100 NL and 200 game has a fairly varied group there. Not too many godawful folks, but the majority are mistake prone, and are certainly prone to make the big mistakes.
A lot of regulars have...
