Re: Wheeling - Friday Nov. 9

you hit the main points to address csabo (especially the ridiculous lammers playing/not playing rules.)

i'd also suggest getting some $100 chips. and while not necessary some massage gals would...

[ QUOTE ]
Wonkadaddy, I was playing in the $2/5 game in the middle of the room on Saturday night. There was one other game at an adjacent table and along a wall. I was in the three seat, big guy...

Re: Stop Loss Limits: Pro\'s and Con\'s...

i think of stop losses as a check on my ability to determine whether i'm playing well and how good my opponents are. and looking back, there are games/opps that i thought were juicy at the time...

Re: An example from Jacobs\' h/u limit article

i bet at those a lot. those are perfect "don't f around" flops that lead to quick, easy folds from opps that totally missed. just like an ace or king high flop most people don't hang when they're...

Re: $50 HUSNG -- An Exercise in Hand Reading

Can you ever lay down a full house at HU? I mean theoretically.. This reminds me of HoH II where Harrington mocks people who explain how the laid down a set on the flop. Especially with...

Re: Folding a former top pair

i call pretty easy for 1 from the BB here. (i didn't realize OP was in the BB at first)

i play it the same against an unknown (i check-fold the river against some opps here, but not the majority)

Re: Spewery???

i play it the same. after he 3-bets you only need to be ahead >50% of the time to cap since the action doesn't reopen, so i like your cap. if the cap was 5+ bets i'd probably shake my head in...

Re: Folding a former top pair

are you coldcalling UTG raises w/hands like QJo fairly often? w/out more of a read that this guy's quite laggy, this seems pretty loose.

also, if you think you're better than his range, a...

1680 x 1050 resolution good for 4-tabling?

(not at Party)
i've read that 1600x1200 handles 4 tabling fine w/no overlap for most sites, but what about 1680x1050? (the native resolution for most 20.1" widescreen LCDs). tks.

Re: 10/20 KTo BB

i'll peel on the flop sometimes, but this is a pretty easy drop on the turn i think. i don't know why you're donking the river either

Re: 99, 2nd pair, mono flop, a c/r

these hands are annoying. i passively check-call it down all the way unless another 9 hits.

but it's an easy decision to stay involved here. much tougher when you don't have the flush draw...

Re: hand vs nate 30 short wynn

i'd agree.
i checkraise the flop and lead/3-bet turn, lead river.
if nate has anything i imagine there's a pretty good chance you get popped on one of the big streets (either on the turn,...

Re: Buying My Gutshot Outs??

so really i'm just trying to knock out QJ, KJ, AJ, J8, J7 so that the 9's are freed up as outs.

and if a hand w/a ten (other than JT) comes along then i'm getting my odds on my flush so my...

Re: I wanna throw up...

ton of value in betting the river. his turn checkraise makes me think 2 pair is a good bit more likely than a hand w/an ace in it here.

and i pay off his checkraise.
