Re: .01/.02 AA - poor pot control?

i started with like $20 on stars 2NL and it was easy. the players are so bad there's almost no variance

Re: 3 hands I got stacked with on 20NL

in hand 1 a psr would be $1.4. you want to raise more than that because if one person calls the next will be getting great odds. $2 is ideal imo

edit: and as vixticator said your pf raise in hand...

Re: 3 hands I got stacked with on 20NL - help?

hand 1: raise to 2ish pf, rest is fine

hand 2: spew

hand 3: need stats on villain. my guess is you're behind his range here regardless though

Re: Strong Maniac bet on river

it's 4 handed and he's to your right. that means that 3 out of 4 hands you will be IP. don't try to play big pots oop vs a maniac

Re: 25,000 Hand Stats Review. Advice greatly appreciated.

as others have stated something is wrong with your blind play.
i also think you're playing way too weak for a 15% vpip.
your w$wsf is 34 and wtsd 20
whereas i play 25% vpip and mine are 33 and 23...

Re: River decision

we lose a lot of value by checking behind on the river imo.
i think villain most likely has a medium pp like 77-QQ and as mertzo said i think a check behind on the turn might be best to allow him to...

I just posted on another thread about blind play. Funny you post these hands now.

First hand, raise flop bet.
Second hand, fold pre-flop.

IMO.

Re: Turned Set vs. \"enemy\"

i'm surprised that you guys don't know what stack-a-donk is.
it's raise pf, cbet flop, and crai turn

Re: Turned Set vs. \"enemy\"

stack a donk on the turn might have been a better choice especially if he's the way you describe him

Re: 25NL: donkish or ok?

i can't think of a hand that you're beating here
as xanta said i think a7, 77, k7 are the most likely plus maybe limped aces because some people at these levels love to do that.

Re: 50NL: TT and a reraise on the flop.

i'd fold the flop raise if he was good but if he's bad like you say he is then you might be ahead of his range. if you expect him to call pf with hands like 87,98,T8,A8 and make a raise on the flop...

You pretty much min-raised a min-raise.

Not true. A min 3bet here on the flop would be to $12. A pot sized 3bet would be to to $24. My raise size is right in...

Re: JJ villian gets funky on the flop

so i'm guessing you checkraised the flop then?

edit: ok nevermind

the bet small/3bet line is usually a monster from donks; i'd be inclined to fold here and make a note. i would not put him on...

Re: JJ villian gets funky on the flop

i don't understand this at all
first of all Button's stack is missing
second of all how does the button act before you on the flop???
and why are you always shortstacked?

Re: 2 hands back to back against same villian

maybe you are, but neither is a good spot to find out.

also you need to reload more often and if you feel the villain here is too much trouble then you could always leave the table
