I would probably check behind turn, river you are ahead almost everytime so you must bet. Id make it 30 and hopes he has a king

He probably has a weaker king, make him pay (I bet $20 and call a push)

Wow, tough spot, with villian calling on turn, I think checking on river is good. You are getting ck. raised here or villian is folding. Probably losing some value if Villian's kicker is lower, but, a little safer.

IMO.

we lose a lot of value by checking behind on the river imo.
i think villain most likely has a medium pp like 77-QQ and as mertzo said i think a check behind on the turn might be best to allow him to bluff at the river. if you bet the turn though you have to bet the river

River: ($40) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $22.00, SB calls $22.00

Pot Size: $84.00 ($2 Rake)

SB had 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a full house, Fours full of Kings) and WON (+$40.25)
Hero had Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ([Qs Kd] three of a kind, Kings) and LOST (-$41.75)

Comments? Bad play?

Bet this for value every time.

Any AQ, AJ that c/r'd the flop to rep the K would check/call the turn and will prob pay off a value bet on river. Plus we beat every not filled-up K.

did OP bet and call a shove against villain's 44 or AA? those are the only 2 hands that might play it like this that we lose to

standard, he sandbagged his boat like a typical 50NL donk (meaning he could have just as easily had 1 pair or weaker trips)

IF this is standard, checking behind is +EV.
