Re: improving my WTSD

Two other hands where you called and most disagreed were H1 and H2. I actually agree with your call down in H1 (hero QsJd 9 K 2Q rainbow) i think this can be a worse hand which is then forced to bet...

Re: Protect those blinds 33 hand

That doesn't look good to me, no one is going to give you credit for an ace no matter how tight they seem so you're just going to get outplayed with this approach. Call the flop and turn then decide...

Haha, well I assumed that his numbers weren't going to stay that high over any longer period of time. Looking back over the hands he played, I saw that he did, in fact, get sick lucky. ...

Re: another bad river bet-call

Against a reasonable to good player i think miles should just CR the flop as too often the turn will get checked through. In addition with so many draws possible there is a reasonable chance you will...

no one is good enough to play 50% of there hands raising 70 % long term and be a winner, he ran hot. Feel free to try it out for a few months though i might be wrong /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Bet, do not give a free card here.

If it gets raised you have odds to call imo. If it's 3bet you probably have to fold.

Re: am i too tight preflop?

1. fold
2. If the guy is not unusually tight (i.e. i think i have 50% equity) I 3 bet if not i fold.

Re: idiot!

If you can fold to a 3 bet and check down the river I don't hate raising the turn as BB looks to be either on a draw or have a one pair hand that got scared.

Re: What is a \"Good\" BB won per hand from the Big Blind

I presume part of the reason the vol put in pot seems high to me is that most of the times when I have seen these numbers are from 5-10, 10-20 and 15-30 limits where there may be less raised pot than...

Re: What is a \"Good\" BB won per hand from the Big Blind

So i'm looking over stox's new book, page 101 shows a table for BB defense. The numbers given for the player identified as high (i'm assuming stox) are:

put $ in pot 51.12%
win % WSF 38.77...

Re: 5/10 WPX AJs line check.

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***

I think it unlikely that anyone is beating 5/10 over a large number of hands for in excess of 1.5 BB/100 (and probably less). There will however be plenty of people who play 50K hands and win a...
