AA Double Stacked against super-aggro.

This hand happened on Tribeca 10/20NL 6-max

The villain in question is 26/16/13.00 after about 300 hands. So yeah he's like one of the most aggro players I've ever played against. But I've only...

Re: Bottom set fold - deep - NL 600

The size of your turn raise is very bad, your giving him better than 3 to 1 immediate odds + additional implied odds, so he's calling with a pretty wide range. Make the turn raise potsized.

Re: 5/10NL Stars 5-Handed. Top pair on turn + FD against big raise.

Seems standard, he probably picked up the club draw on the turn to go with his 7.

Re: Caesars Palace 2-5: $2,000 Pot, Turn and River Check-raises

I disagree. In fact, I've often found it easier to read opponents when I allow them to take the lead. More importantly, it becomes very difficult to read my hand in these situations.

Re: whats the equivalent of a -1500 BB swing in NL?

Depends on the agression level of the game. If it was 100NL I'd say 20 buyins. If it was shorted-handed 2KNL it's probably closer to 40-45 buyins. Bigger games like 50/100NL may go even higher.

Re: Caesars Palace 2-5: $2,000 Pot, Turn and River Check-raises

This hand would've played itself, it you had just raised pot preflop and then potted the flop when you hit. It's about 20X easier to read hands when you take the betting lead.

Re: Pair the board one time??

Re: I don\'t get much credit from a TAG...

Pretty much everyone at that limit sucks regardless of their preflop stats.

Re: 5/10 calling down lolotrickedu

Assuming you started with 1 grand, I probably would've beat him into the pot on the turn by check-raising allin.
