Using the 300bb for limit and 25 buy in bankroll for NL, I'd say it translates to 125 buyins. Yikes.

I think 300bb downswings in limit are far more common than 25 buyin downswings in NL.

Post this is probability if you really want an answer. All you need to provide is the winrates and standard deviations for each game. My guess is that it is the equivalent of 50.

300 BB is around the same as ~10 buyins in NL, right? Both are rare but pretty much inevitable to good players at medium stakes?
Yeah, I'd guess 50. And I don't buy 1500 BB as variance but I'm talking out of my ass there. |
