AA Double Stacked against super-aggro.
This hand happened on Tribeca 10/20NL 6-max
The villain in question is 26/16/13.00 after about 300 hands. So yeah he's like one of the most aggro players I've ever played against. But I've only clashed against him once so far, when I reraised his open with AK and he folded to my flop C-Bet. I've only seen him showdown once, when he had KK on some rag board against a shortstack donk. He's three-barrelled a couple of times that went uncalled on the river. My image is solid TAG, who's been isolating the donks alot. I have 4700, aggro covers. Donk limps UTG, I make it 100 from CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], aggro calls from BB, donk folds. Flop: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I bet 180, he makes 450.......my action from here on out? |

Re: AA Double Stacked against super-aggro.
call and let him keep firing; raise allin on the river?
variant of the raise-allin-on-turn stackadonk plan for a 100bb stack. |

Re: AA Double Stacked against super-aggro.
I'd call, and call turn again on any card. Assuming he bets like 900 or so into 1100 on turn, we have a pot of about 3k for river, with him having about 4k left. Depending on betsize on river and of course turn card and river card (running hearts or like running jack-queen or anything like that/as dangerous as that would obviously lead us to fold river), I would either call or raise allin.

I think I'm calling him down, but I'm not sure if I want to put the rest in on the river. It depends on what the two next cards are.

Re: AA Double Stacked against super-aggro.
Call flop, c/r all in on blank turn, seems like a standard line, I expect him to have a draw here much more often than two pair and much more often than a set.

Re: AA Double Stacked against super-aggro.
aejones: We have position, and it would be unwise to raise a player THIS aggressive on turn; it's worth getting outdrawn on river given his ultra-agressiveness, since he's known to 3-barrel. We make much more all the times he has nothing and just fires 3-barrels than we lose the times he manages to outdraw us on river when a turn raise would have made him fold his draw / air.

Re: AA Double Stacked against super-aggro.
call flop c/r. Call turn. Call river/bet if checked to. As described, I cant see folding against this guy unless 2 hearts come off. Also, I dont like a turn raise, as he's likely to fold whenever he's behind, but very likely to follow up on river when behind.
