don't play too tight early - better to go out early than bubble. so many players can't get away from aces and kings that it is worth calling up to 10% of stack with suited connectors and small pairs....

help new player with correct betting
New to P/L omaha - regular hold em player. I keep getting burnt when flop nuts - e.g. J10 on 789 flop I bet the pot then on the turn a flush or a full house comes. Or flopping top set and betting all...

I'd fold - Chataban doesn't need to play a hand he may even have aces - with 6000 chips and coasting thru and a bigger stack behind him it is a good chance.

shaundeeb - interesting point - when i first started playing omaha i used to make big bets if I flopped the nuts. Turned out getting burnt a lot. Omaha i find often better to keep pot small. holdem...
