ok - i bet none of you loudmouths if you were at the 1st hand of the WSOP would stick all your 10000 chips in on it

edit: ah, QJs...at wsop might limp then...but still id put it in

you are right poisoned - i just wondered if i should have played it differently - check called - maybe only lost half my stack - seen if the turn brought another heart and if not pushed - the trip 10s wouldve stayed but if i might have got rid off the heart draw. Anyway stupid question- cant win em all

well you cant be scared of getting outdrawn. all you can do is get it in with the best hand, and if you get outdrawn, thats poker

shaundeeb - interesting point - when i first started playing omaha i used to make big bets if I flopped the nuts. Turned out getting burnt a lot. Omaha i find often better to keep pot small. holdem isnt so much of a drawing game but i think the above was similar to an omaha situation where you just know your hand is getting burnt
