Re: NL 100: AKo

Odd stats... tough hand. Was the turn check because of the scare card or to induce a bet? I think the rest of the hand seems pretty standard.

I think because he checked behind on the turn I'm...

Bleh, I dunno. I think I can find a fold here.

Re: 50 NL I\'ll push for ~200BB on the flop lol

I'm all about playing big drawing hands aggresively, but I don't think this is good. You also have a chance to stack at least one of them (maybe) if you do make your hand. You're risking too much...

Re: Really common situation

I don't think this villain is calling with much that you beat when you push the action -- he's fairly tight. I think it's a WA/WB situation with us more likely having him beat. In which case I'd...

Re: NL200 53s hitting a huge draw on the turn

Wanted to add that I call the turn all day if I'm closing the action.

Re: NL200 53s hitting a huge draw on the turn

Honestly I fold on all 3 streets and I think you put yourself in a very tough spot, but here's my analysis:

PF: Not too crazy about the call. I probably fold here, but it's probably not terrible....

Re: A few ideas

This is too funny...

In regards to the original post -- you can beat lower limit NL FR by playing weak/tight and that's why so many people do it (I think). I do agree that being LAG in certain...

I think it's a push. Berge - Why wouldn't villain with those stats PSB trips on this board?

Obviously it depends on the villian and I don't want to paint a...

Re: 100NL: play this river

I hate river donk bets like this from lagtards. Looks like he's got a big hand maybe... but, my first instinct is to shove (would this guy donk 77-JJ thinking it's the nuts?).

Obviously the safe...

Re: NL200 J9s weird preflop

I read through and liked bottom-set's advice at first.

But, I don't like to miss any bets against these types of villains. I think I'm more likely to smooth call if the villains are better. I...

Re: $100NL Thin Value Bet

I think you can bet more on the turn also (he could very likely be on a draw).

Re: $100NL Thin Value Bet

I think you have to bet here again (he's not checking with a flush) $30. I think you can fold to a raise though.

Re: 100NL: aces in the blind: you play them

That is sick... gj on him flopping the nuts. I don't think you can get away from it though.

I think villain might have missed some value here -- would you have folded to a shove? If I were...

Re: 100NL: aces in the blind: you play them

Agreed with how the hand went so far...

As for the river I don't mind check/call.

You are almost certainly splitting here based on the previous action (villain almost certainly had a made hand...

Re: Really common situation

He limp/called your raise. I'd say that rules out QQ+. If you're behind it's to a set (occassionally 2-pair/straight if he plays SC here which I doubt) and you could be ahead to a worse kicker or ...

Re: WTF does a tight player overlimp and then call a PFR OOP with

Given that other hand I would bet and look to 3-bet/get it AI on the flop or turn.

Re: NL25: weak tight QQ overpair against 9/0 villain

Not folding here. I think you need a lot more hands of him showing zero aggression before thinking about laying it down (especially if he may go crazy with AK).

Re: NL 100 - I have aces, build a pot and get a crappy river

Yea, rough one...

Call, mainly not to encourage people to make moves on you on the river... and occassionally you will win it. I would say against most villains you are beat here though, and I...
