AF takes so much longer than VPIP/PFR to converge(which is still pretty varied at 125hands), I don't include it in tiny samples, he's been pretty aggro

only real hand we played against each other

2/3 pot on flop, call a raise. Hope he leads turn so you can raise, if not bet turn and look to have it AI by river. If he's not a tighty I will look to b-3b flop.

C-bet if you normally would.

I find that people love to CR C-bets on paired boards to test you.

Given that other hand I would bet and look to 3-bet/get it AI on the flop or turn.

Is this a joke?

he almost certainly missed the flop, and likely has a weak hand generally with 2outs or less, these hands aren't calling multiple bets too often, so how do I induce him into playing a big pot from way behind

id say that we need to make a half pot bet on the flop. then a full one on the turn. and play the river yourself. hopefully he c/res on the flop so you can push.

You can safely check, but given that other hand he looks like a station. Also on this type of board I've noticed people will call more often than you think especially if you have an AGG image. If he has an OP I don't think he's folding, if he doesn't, the answer is you aren't getting much out of him anyway so make it look like a c-bet at the flop and hope he floats you.

Against some villains who I would consider NITty I'm OK checking for deception, but I'd like to start building a pot and stacking him if he's got an OP.

I'm curious about this hand. Why didn't you bet the flop? Are you afraid of AQ or QQ?
