1. was a better than scratch player and an apprentice pro in the southwest section of the PGA.
2. move ball forward...tee it high let it fly.
3. havent hit a ball in over 3 years.

its tough to change these things but...what has worked before is when practicing swinging suppppper slow to try to ingrain new muscle memories..setting tees, balls, a club, anything outside ball to...

yeah i can hijack too...im a golf pro as well, although i dont play or teach anymore...as to the one question about popping up his woods...my guess is that you are coming into impact from too steep...
