Re: 2-5: QQ river action
He had KJ, called my river bet, and muttered for about an hr afterwards about how sick the last bet was.
The J on the flop was a club Auc. There were three on board by the river. Not 4.
Thanks...

Re: 2-5: QQ river action
In the hand I pushed the river. Reasoning as follows:
If he had AJ I thought I would have heard from him already. Felt he most likely had KJ or QJ. If he had a set, he played it very passively....

Re: 2-5: AK on AQJ flop seven handed.
Agree with calling being a bad move. It was raise or fold in my mind.
I was feeling a bit aggressive and decided to raise to 400. Everyone folded to him. He raised all in to 410 total and showed...

2-5: QQ river action
Local cardroom. Full table, stacks range from 400 to 1500. Fairly loose and passive game up to this point.
Straddle to 10 and restraddle to 20. One caller in late position, I look down and see QQ...

Re: WSOP Pay Per View
For NY residents using Time Warner Cable, at least in Queens, it's on channel 421.
I also watched this last year and thought it was great - first four hours of commentary aside. Definitely worth...

5-10 NL - stacking off with AA
I am normally a 2-5 player, but this weekend I was in AC and decided to buy into a 5-10 game for 1k. First hand someone bets 100 blind, I make it 250 with KK, and the small blind puts me all in. I...

1-2 NL: bad luck or donkey play?
Started playing 1-2 full ring recently, buying in for half max. I keep finding myself in the situations like the following where I lose it all after building it up steadily for a while.
Are these...

Or poker rooms could simply expose an API for anyone interested and have bot only tables. Herd them onto the same tables so to speak, and let others play against them if they wished.

Re: 300 NL: J9 on a 8s9s9c flop. ai cr.
TV, agree with EP having the 9 and MP being committed. When I raised I knew MP was calling and I was happy to race against him if he was on the draw.
If we agree that the range above for EP is...

Re: 300 NL: J9 on a 8s9s9c flop. ai cr.
OK, some math to see if I can generate some responses.
From Poker Stove:
If we put BB on a range of A9/K9/Q9/J9/T9, suited or unsuited, JsTs, and 97d, and we put MP on AsQs-AsTs, As7s, As6s....

300 NL: J9 on a 8s9s9c flop. ai cr.
Local card room. Fairly typical mix of loose and tight players. Buyin is 300 and stacks range from 100-600. I have 540 and a tight image.
EP raises to 15 (typical), two others call and I call on...

Re: 2-5 NL: TT on rag board. Turn action.
In the actual hand I pushed. Following factors influenced my decision:
- Given my stack size, any bet 150 or under looks weak and both players were capable of putting me all in on a bluff or draw....

Five call the big blind and you call in the sb with 44. bb checks and six see a flop of Ks6c4d.
You check and EP bets 15. Two call and you call. Everyone else folds.
Four see the 9s turn. Check...

280 in the pot, the SB leads out for 200 on a KcTh5h flop. UTG folds.
