Re: Nut flush on the turn getting reraised, what\'s the best play?

River: 5 ( $42.25 )
BB bets $29.00, Hero calls $29.00,

shouldnt allin appear here? (counting the bets, yes, he's allin :P)

[ QUOTE ]
raise it preflop!!!
Your hand is a monster, why would you just call here?

As played: He is serious about this hand.
A fold here is ok. You dont have much invested, and if he has KQ/QQ...

Re: General question about reraising AKo/s preflop

for me, really depends on reads on villains...

and when raised before the button, I usually reraise against anyone.

Re: NL 50 Marginal hands vs shorties

Is this a call? Can someone stove this?

You beat only flush draws here... I like to call shorties on close spots too, but this one seems that youre behind, IMO.

Re: Nut flush on the turn getting reraised, what\'s the best play?

I like that line... if you got crippled by a boat, thats the game, can't see a way to get away from that...

[ QUOTE ]
People dont do this with ak or aq often enough.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm with you on this one... actually, if I was the villain, I'd bet more on all streets with AK and AQ, but not the river....

Re: 50 NL, I\'m bad w/ AK, and so I post...

bet the turn for sure. from there you can know what youre goin to do next.

as played, I'd fold it. Way too coordinated board and great for a BB hand.

Re: NL 50 river a set villian shoves

without cbetting cant see you calling here... maybe a two pair? but being curious is kinda expensive here =] I'd prob fold.

Villain says to OP: "Can I take you to VT?"

OP Says to Villain: "Where VT"

Villain says to OP: "Valllllllllllue Town"

The second he bets the turn IU think you are beaten.

Re: NL 50 AK villian shoves turn

[ QUOTE ]

4:1 are good odds, but i got a feeling that we are down to 4 outs.

[/ QUOTE ]

Reading again, maybe we are really down to 4 outs. But I'd call anyway. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif...

Re: NL 50 QQ villian c/r me on low flop

cant give much credit here... dont think a call would be good here, as he will prob lead the turn and theres a lot of cards that can be scary. i'd prob reraise again.
