Re: NL400: Bottom pair and a straight draw against a freaky line

[ QUOTE ]
Not at all standard. Def fold preflop. I probably check the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]
k, what is your reason for folding preflop? not enough hands to play post flop properly?

NL400: Bottom pair and a straight draw against a freaky line

The SB is 29/14 over a really small sample of 39 hands. Seems like a donk to me tho so far, is this standard yes? How else might we play it?

My image was at this table 27/27 over the same measly...

A squeeze with AJ

The button is 24/20 with an attempt to steal of 40%. These stats are only over 120 hands and mostly from another session as he has only been at the table for a few orbits. I have no read on him...

Re: Turning a combo draw OOP...

[ QUOTE ]
check turn, shove.

will do wonders for future encounters; won't be terrible even if called.

[/ QUOTE ]
More importantly though, will rarely be called.

Re: Turning a combo draw OOP...

If we check call what's our plan for the river (both missed and hit)?

I'd seriously consider check shoving if this guy be floating a lot.

Re: I have PT OCD - is this normal?

[ QUOTE ]

Makes me want to break into your house while you're not home & track 10,000 hands of losing 1c/2c NL on your acct. Don't worry though I'll leave the loses on your desk.

I have PT OCD - is this normal?

So I HATE seeing any red numbers in my PT database. I simply won't have it, it makes my unhappy and I must make it nice again.

Today I woke up and sat down to play some $1/$2 like normal. When I...

NL200 - AQo in a RR - How do I play this hand better?

The button is 25/19/3 over 200 hands and his attempt to steal is 33%. I have 3bet him from the SB a few times this session but this is the first time he's called. He seems pretty decent.

Any...

NL100 - Passive FPS with Set against a niTAG?

UTG+1 is 15/11 don’t really have to strong of a read on him. He seems like a typical ‘niTAG’, I tend to assume that a player with these sort of stats is at least a semi thinker until I have a read...

Re: NL100 - Totally standard value betting TPGK against a donk?

Yeah, I pretty much suck at posting I think tbh. I promise I will try harder 2+2.

Re: NL100 - Totally standard value betting TPGK against a donk?

Okay, that last hand was pretty retarded...obv value bet I think.

How about this one?

Same table but this guy is even looser, 74/0 - he folds sometimes but seems to prefer calling. We have to...

NL100 - Totally standard value betting TPGK against a donk?

Bad boy in this hand is 62/26 over 80 hands. Those stats make him appear more aggressive than he actually is. He favors the min raise preflop in a lot of spots which adds to his PFR numbers, his is...

Re: NL$200| AK (TPTK) is it ok to go broke here?

I would end up going bust here nearly always but your line is weird. It looks like your trying to induce a push but only from air. So I guess you got what you wanted when he pushes and your now not...

Re: NL200 - AA against 2 donks 200bb deep

Bump

Is this really simple? Are we all happy to play for 200bb stacks 3way here against these opponents?

Re: Still Got it

You should have called, you'd have won LDO. You had top pair and the straight, he just had the straight.

Re: 25NL: 4K hands in 5 hours

[ QUOTE ]

Is 8BB/100 not good? I have been reading this forum and I see that about 10BB is nice although 5BB is acceptable.

[/ QUOTE ]
All wrong. 10 is acceptable, 8 is very very disapointing.

NL200 - AA against 2 donks 200bb deep

The CO is 42/26 over about only 60 hands but seems pretty donkish. He got his stack by getting 89 all in on a 9 high board in a multiway pot.

The BTN is 61/6 over about 75 hands and deffo worse...

NL100 - Overpair gets raised on the flop

So this is a kinda standard situation I guess, but given the nature of the villain, his preflop action and the texture of the board, I was a bit unsure how to proceed, or indeed if to proceed at all...

Re: NL100: Top pair + OE raised on flop

Although I like the induced bluff on the river, I think I would much rather bet about half the pot and hope you get reraised.
