[ QUOTE ] (Jay's UTG opening range sounds about right for a CO call for a 28vpip) [/ QUOTE ] No I meant I would be raising all those hands if I was hero in the hand. [/ QUOTE ] I know? Which part of what i said didn't imply that? |

Re: Turning a combo draw OOP...
That's in the range of hands a 28/14 would call with from the CO.

Yeah, there are a few more offsuit combos in his hand also I think.

Re: Turning a combo draw OOP...
[ QUOTE ]
A hand with a 7 in it is such a small part of his range that I'm not even worrying about that. We have a good number of outs against anything he's holding, and a ton of fold equity vs. his range. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not saying that he holds a 7, i'm saying that he can't really push with worse. So if you do bet turn and he pushes, you can figure to be about a 2.5:1 dog. So its pot odds really. |

check turn, shove.
will do wonders for future encounters; won't be terrible even if called. |

Re: Turning a combo draw OOP...
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. If you're playing the guy a lot it really doesn't matter if he calls, c/r all in here will both discourage him from being so obnoxious in position and set up some very profitable situations down the road.

Re: Turning a combo draw OOP...
I'm quite suprised by the respones in this thead. I'm with terp on check/shove. Seems like a good spot given history.

Re: Turning a combo draw OOP...
bet exactly $17 so you get fold equity when you shove over his raise
