Re: NL100: Top pair + OE raised on flop
Although I like the induced bluff on the river, I think I would much rather bet about half the pot and hope you get reraised.

Re: NL100: Top pair + OE raised on flop
Well, you posted the results of the hand which you shouldnt do until later. If you had checkraised he would have not called anyways, given the results. The river bet might induce him to bluff raise which gets more money in the pot.
2nd hand, reraise to $20, I dont like the fact of calling here and letting him take the lead. |

Re: NL100: Top pair + OE raised on flop
Why are you minraising him?
I think a call is good here drawing to our straight, probably giving up on the turn UI |

[/ QUOTE ] I posted the results because I thought them relevant to the second hand which was the main point of the post. I think that hand is played okay, although i'm happy to discuss that too if we think otherwise. [ QUOTE ] 2nd hand, reraise to $20, I dont like the fact of calling here and letting him take the lead. [/ QUOTE ] I think if we reraise $20 is a bad number. What hands are we thinking he has that makes reraising the prefered option? |
