Re: Chances of Death = X, Do You Save a Friend?

Yes, I had days where i have done 10 or more rescues, those are generally the worst days, and i guess the 10% could be for the general public, its probably more like 2 for a properly trained guard....

Re: Chances of Death = X, Do You Save a Friend?

I have been an ocean lifeguard for 5 years now, which has chances probably as good as 10% some days for random strangers I have never seen before. Hell I have almost died in training one day, waves...

Re: deep - even durrrr said call, fold, or push are all fine.

most morons would raise you on the flop with something lik two pair or a set, part of being a moron is overvaluing hands, thats why i discounted those hands. Have you seen something to discount this...

Re: deep - even durrrr said call, fold, or push are all fine.

If you look at my reply, it is obviously worse to just call. But putting him on the flush is not credit, its common sense, he is just a huge tell box, he is not disguising his hand at all.

Re: 200NL qks on the button

I am 75% sure he is on a flush draw. Maybe, A10. he has more than nothing for sure but not a lot(read: set).

Re: 200NL qks on the button

There are a few reasons,
1) He reraised preflop to a cold caller, means there is a good chance he is ahead and can take it down there.
2) If the villain has a hand we can get away from ours now...

Re: 200NL qks on the button

I personally think you need to bet that flop. I didn't read the other post so I can compare to his reasoning

Re: qq oop, i ch raise turn

good bet, I think he had a flush draw, and if he had the Jh, or maybe an ace he might call and pay you off. Trips is unlikely, he would have raised the flop.

Re: deep - even durrrr said call, fold, or push are all fine.

Effective Stack = 375
Committed at turn = 112

If he has a flush, you need a boat to win, 18% at best, or quads 2% so 20% of the time you win $375. 80% of the time you lose $236, no splits. thats...

Re: 200NL qks on the button

IMHO his play screams junky suited Ax, so I would bet strong on the turn, 2/3 - 3/4 pot so if he does call its wrong. But the river is an easy fold.

Re: deep - even durrrr said call, fold, or push are all fine.

IMO its either a fold or a push, and given that he is a huge moron fish, I think he is more likely to play a flush like that, I get away from it!

fold, he likely has a set, he wouldn't call then raise the flop with much you are beating

Re: Play this JTs OTB with me

I think I fold to the SB's reraise. TJs is not a great hand, I only raise there in the first place in a steal attempt.
But as played
Fold the flop. He reraised PF, showing stregth, he has, AA,...

Re: steal flops the baby flush. whats my line?

I check -fold the turn.
As played - fold to the raise or at the worst, just flat call his raise. He shouldn't be raising there with anything less than a flush, and a 7 high flush is pretty...

Re: Nuts on turn against an allin with one to act behind

how much do you put in on the turn? 2/3rds pot doesn't give him odds to call, but makes it close enough for him to call anyways.
