I didnt have a read at the time, but since I think most regulars would either raise or float a small bet on that board, I thought playing like that is optimal. Do you guys play it differant and why?

good bet, I think he had a flush draw, and if he had the Jh, or maybe an ace he might call and pay you off. Trips is unlikely, he would have raised the flop.
