Re: call this bluff?
Looks ok to me. I can see argument for checking the turn. the spade draw would be runner runner. If he called for the straight draw, the 4 probably was not his card. 5 or 8 is scarier. That...

Re: Passive KK against tags...
i like 4bet preflop. small blind could have interpreted button raise as a steal and re-raised with a lot of hands. I also would have raised the flop since your hand is not gonna get better ...

Re: 200NL KQo OOP
I like how you played it thru all parts and I would fold to the all-in... no opinion on the timing tell... not enough experience to warrant one.

Re: 200NL- BlindBattle
"So what do we do if a 6,8,T,diamond falls on the turn and villian shoves to us?"
IMHO... I probably fold. But that is why I am here, reading and posting in <sponge-mode>.
I am scared of 3...

Re: Common but tricky(?) spot....
i don't like checking the turn at all...
sometimes you are gonna be trapped, but most of the time you are either in the lead and/or fighting a flush draw.
You have position. Bet 2/3 of the...

Re: 200NL- BlindBattle
I like the idea of calling and re-evaluating on the turn. What good is position if you don't use it when you need it?

Re: Facing huge overbet with a set
you should lead the turn. without leading on the turn, you have no idea what your opponent has.
as played, i'd fold on the river too. It appears to be your lower set vs a higher set or a...

Re: flush draw runners 2pair against donk .5/1
i have a hard time pulling the trigger in these situations, but my take is you should raise on the flop.
1) it might make some better hands fold (88-JJ) or others
2) it might get you a free...

Re: AK - best line?
I would normally lead out on the turn with about $15 as a value bet. I think the check/call on turn is ok, but I fear any free draws or losing value.
As played, I would call turn and then c/c...

Re: 97s misplayed on all streets?
I like it all the way through... call and pray you don't see Q-9. personally, I think villain's all-in is a great move if he has just a 9. that's what I'd do in that situation to try and scare...

Re: NL 200 : RR pot w\\ AQ..now what?
not sure I like the pre-flop raise OOP with just A-Q against so many players. If there are donks, then we don't expect them to fold and you are now OOP and will miss the flop 2/3 of the time. ...

Re: [NL200] Standard fold river with TPGK ?
maybe bluff the turn on the flush card then be prepared to fold a raise or a bet on the river?
you can only beat a bluff on the river the way this was played in my (very) humble opinion.
