Re: NL 200 : RR pot w\\ AQ..now what?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] c/f or shove flop. as played, just stick the rest in [/ QUOTE ] this is so bad on so many levels. i doubt u ever wanna shove aa/kk on this flop for value. you have to balance your play. You cant just open shove trying to get the most fold equity, that makes ur play very exploitable. Assuming he is a donk and what not it might not be a bad play but a cbet is much better even if the villian is short. instead of c/f the flop id probably c/r or c/c if he pushes. We are giving i think the villian too much credit here. [/ QUOTE ] yeah, c/c or c/r the flop might be better, i agree with that. but i disagree that we need to balance our play against a 70/40 donk. |

Re: NL 200 : RR pot w\\ AQ..now what?
not sure I like the pre-flop raise OOP with just A-Q against so many players. If there are donks, then we don't expect them to fold and you are now OOP and will miss the flop 2/3 of the time. I'd rather make this play with 10s up. but I will admit that I am still NIT and learning.
Given the pre-raise, I like the c-bet and then C/F on the turn <sigh> |
