Re: 99 late in $5 tourney
[ QUOTE ]
Okay, after some time to think I see how bad this is. I'm pretty new to tournaments and I get over aggressive sometimes. Out of curiosity, does anyone shove if SB is not in the hand? I...

Re: JJ on bubble, help with ICM tournament equity?
I appreciate the kind words, but I am looking for some serious analysis. I recall in HoH vol. II Harrington talks about folding QQ to an all in push on the bubble, but that was for a one table SNG...

Re: 99 late in $5 tourney
Shoving the flop probably has your best folding equity, but you're playing your 99 as a bluff since you aren't even ahead of QT or A8s. I still think you're going to get called a lot and I don't like...

Re: 99 late in $5 tourney
I'm guessing blinds are 600-1,200? Pushing pre flop screams to me: "I have a medium pair and don't want to play a flop.", Of course this flop is why you don't want to play one. I might have put in a...

Re: KQo Short Stacked vs 4xbb PFR, Push?
Unless you've seen this guy open a large number of pots I wouldn't push here. I think it's an instacall for Villain i.e. no folding equity, and it's unlikely in my opinion that Hero is ahead. I think...

Re: Play though a hand with me here....
Wow, this thread is awesome! At this point I'd guess it checks around on the river, EP raiser turns up 3-3 while everyone else mucks with Hero kicking himself for never having taken a stab at it.
