Re: I will mentor you for free

Hi, I'm a 20 year old student at Leeds uni, and have been playing poker for a couple of years, only one seriously. I started out donking around with friends after watching tv poker etc. I built my...

Re: Range against villain who pushes every hand

Against a guy like this I call top 50% as the value you gain from having a bigger stack is huge. If you double up you can take even more of his stack next time and you can wait for a better spot to...

Re: NL50 TPTK in 3bet pot

I dont like pushing here for reasons above. If by some chance hes bluffing here your line is perfect but against this villain utg i doubt TPTK is good

Re: NL50: T9s, weak TP in 3 handed pot

Looks fine to me, maybe bet more on the turn (15-18) but I find myself making this sort of bet here. Plan for the river looks good as well given the pot size

Re: folding AK after all-in reraise preflop

I fold here without a lot of history with villain. Making the final raise is very different though

Re: When to stop?

I often play til i get even when down and feel i'm playing well. If I start to tilt/run real bad etc i just quit when i feel I'm no longer in the right frame of mind to play well.

Re: QQ facing a checkraise on the flop

Call on the flop unless you know villain is bad and will stack off with a J

Check behind river. What are you hoping to get called by?

Postflop - fine imo

Re: Line check, big pot

Villains low aggression/high vpip make me want to call the turn and evaluate on river. A player like this often stacks off on an A/K/c river in my experience. Cant fault pushing at all here though.

Re: 100NL A8 facing c/rai on Axx flop

Fold, he's been playing this passively so far and suddenly moved in here. I can't think of a hand u beat except donkish lower aces that don't make two pair.

Re: NL 25: did I play these combo draws right?

Hand 1 i check turn throughand take the free card.

Hand 2 is a much scarier board for opponents to be faced with and pushing is far better than the first imo

Re: AA - donk bet and min-raise in front on flush draw flop

Ouch, this is a nasty spot, I prolly just push as flush draws and 88+ will likely give u action (also not having the Ace of clubs makes flush draws more likely). If one of them has a set so be it.

Re: Huge Draw on Flop, Ck. Raised....Now What?

I push this, he looks strong but theres no way I'm folding here. i think you mite see A7 (which is fine) and 77 (still 70:30) a lot here. But there are other hands a random player will do this with...

Re: QQ hand 3 bet PF by me against solid TAG

Think you have to call this imo. What do you think he calls the 3-bet with? id say AK,TT,JJ,QQ (unlikely) and maybe AA if hes tricky (KK prolly 4-bets). He could be bluffing with AK when you check...

Re: 50NL- AK, TP, against some donk

I'd flat call his turn bet and base my action on the river card and opponents river aggression. I think raising the turn folds out a lot of possible bluffing hands.

If a safe card looking card...

Re: 50 PL - AA preflop in 3-bet pot

This sounds good to me if i had raised early and then been reraised by this player, but if i flat call here im oop and i let the first raiser in cheap He can be playing a wide range of hands here...

Hey all,

I'm quite new to PLO and was wondering about the play of this hand. I think Preflop and the flop are pretty standard and was wondering about my line on the turn here. If someone has the...
