Range against villain who pushes every hand
I was playing last night on Stars $25 and ran into this guy who pushed every single hand preflop. He was running hot, and winning with hands like 107, 35, etc, so he kept doing it. He worked his stack up to around $100.
Assuming you have one full buy-in - what's your range for calling preflop against this type of player? Any pair? Any two paint? |

Re: Range against villain who pushes every hand
Am I last to act? Anything with ~55%+ equity, maybe even less, is instacall. From different positions I would need details on opponents and stuff but call less. I'm overly rolled though so I would rebuy and keep doing this until he goes busto. Waiting for TT+ AK/AQ is dumb.

Exactly, depends how much variance you're willing to take. If you're over-rolled you can loosen up.

uh
Q5s+ any king any ace obv 98s+ 109o + (I think?) all pairs obv.. some other stuff, note that some of the bottom of this range is very high variance, so dont do it unless ur overolled |

Re: Range against villain who pushes every hand
Really? Down to Q5s? I waited for a decent hand and eventually called him (last to act) with KJ. I assume from the responses that was a +EV call?

Re: Range against villain who pushes every hand
Take anything better than an average hand, fees' range is just about perfect I think. Part of the reason you'd want to make a riskier play is because this guy has a big stack that he's going to lose soon. Gamble a little if you have to to increase the chances that you're the one who winds up with his stack.
