Re: Bet/fold river correct?
Here are some reasons I thought bet/folding was a good play:
1. What's he raising the river with that I ever beat? My only real read is that he isn't a maniac, so I felt like if I got raised on...

Bet/fold river correct?
I've only been at the table a couple orbits, but villain has played pretty tight so far.

Re: Some river value bet situations.
1. Check-call
2. Check behind
3. I like betting, I can't imagine someone with that AF would check the river with a Q or T in a blind steal situation. He might call with A high though.

Re: 3/6: 76s flops second pair on the button.
First, I think you could make an argument for raising PF. That's dependent on table image though. You could use another lmper or two also.
As played, I like the flop bet because you could have...

Re: How would you play it?
Ok, and I guess with the extra equity from the caller in the middle, that more than makes up for not seeing a showdown. Sounds good.

Re: How would you play it?
If SB just made a straight, we would likely get 3-bet on our free SD play. I like calling the turn bet better.
You're right, as played, bet the river.

Re: 2/4 - Turn raise a donk bet
I play it the same way.
If MP2 were to fold to the first turrn bet, then I might just call the turn bet and reevaluate on the river, but with another possible drawing hand out there, I like the...

Re: Do you raise this turn?
I would fold this flop actually. I don't think you have the odds to chase a two-outer, and you are more than likely behind with that K out there. AQ, AJ, and maybe AT are the only hands you're...

Re: TPTK sandwiched between aggressors
You're getting basically 24-2 pot odds to call the flop cap. I think that is worth seeing the turn. You are most likely up against over pairs, which would give you between 2 and 5 outs. If these...

Re: I run a bluff. I got called.
My guess is, if this guy is a thinking player at all, that he will see your flop action (screams overcards) and call the river enough to probably make this -EV. If you've seen this player make river...

3/6 ATo with tough board
Haven't been at the table long.
MP1 is about 30/6/0 after 15 hands.
Button is about 40/0/.5 after 20 hands.

A2s with some questionable calls
I made some questionable calls preflop and on the flop, and then went for the free showdown play on the turn.
I had some 60-70 VPIPs right behind me. UTG was 27/9/3.6.
