sorry also forgot to say how we get money into prize pool. $5 for tourney is paid every week you play for 20 weeks, half of our rebuys and add-ons go to the end of year, so we still end up playing...

We have the same kind of poy competition as well in my area. Our point system is 1st 32 2nd 27 3rd 22 4th 17 and then 1 point less for every spot there after, therefore rewarding the top finishers....

I have found out that getting away for a day or 2 is best. I was on a good run for about 2 months and went from 300 to 1400 basically playing $4/180 and a bunch of the $10/27 and $10/45 on pokerstars...

What is the standard win rate for a 9 handed ring game?

Mainly a tourney player here but do play 9 handed ring games occassionally. Mainly .50 - $1 and a little .25-.50. Overall won $132.05 in 21 sessions. Win rate is $13.90/hr /images/graemlins/smile.gif...

without a doubt you have to push and double up, maybe you push get a call or possibly 2 and AA hold up and there is nothing to worry about. If you fold then the short stacks end up doubling up...
