Re: Thanks all for the good feedback.

Do I dare? Do I dare?

Do I dare eat a peach?

I have heard the mermaid's singing, each to each

I do not think that they will sing to me.

Lit major out.

Re: Cant deposit onto FTP....

Nope. I found that out the hard way, too. Paytru only works with PS.

Epassporte is tedious, but works.

Gaytorpay seems to be FT's response, though they're adding Echecks.

You can run bad forever. End of story. The inverse is obviously also true.

Re: Winning online player struggling in live tourney

Although my online success is not anywhere near yours, I have been playing live tourneys for the last 8 months.

I've had pretty good success with the live tourneys, from 2 to 4 a month. I'm in a...

Full tilt software

I just recently started playing on Full Tilt again, and the software is a pain for me. Over 1,000 hands, I'm probably averaging one betting mistake per 100.

Last night, I meant to raise .9 (on...

Re: Session reviews?

Keep an eye out for "Session Review Signup" threads.

Alternatively, post a request for a session review. I'd be happy to take a look, too, for a full ring <100 session. Otherwise, as Abreu said,...

Re: Set of Aces

Nothing you can do. You played it pretty standard, no way to know if someone is going to call 12x bb with KJoff.

It's going to happen more than you think.

I only pitter-patter on a bluff, though

Re: best way to build a bankroll (stars)

[ QUOTE ]
the final answer every lawyer I have read gives is "I don't know if online poker is illegal or not."

Why the confusion?

They're so confused because they're ignoring...

Re: KK bad board

You must bet the flop here. If he calls, and the brick hits on the turn, bet again (but be prepared to lose). If you have the gonads, bet the river, too, but only so much that you can afford to lose...

Re: please help me fix my leak

Top pair is really not enough, with or without a good kicker, to play big pots against most opponents at that level.

I fairly limited experience with limit (5,000 hands or so), but my experience,...

Re: If you had $100-200, would you play NL or Limit?

If you're running into too many TAGs in $10 NL, you have really, really got to start selecting tables better. At that level, you should be playing most hands at tables where 40% go to flop in the...

This was my fourth time playing, and first time outlasting InsaneSteve (who lives up to the title). Very good games, all of them, and I got very lucky with good cards and cracked Finnisher's kings on...

Re: What does this mean on Poker Stars?

Strange, but possibly satellite winners. Huge coincidence, but those things happen among 100,000 plus individuals.

Re: Question about showing cards in Cash Game (PStars vs. Full Tilt)

I think the reason Stars doesn't flip the cards up on an all-in is so that some dufus doesn't pull the plug on his modem when he sees that his q7s ran into a real hand. Evidently, this was quite...

Re: I use Pokeroffice, what are the differences with PT?

VPIP is not saw flop, but Voluntarily Put ($) into Pot. It's essentially all the times you got into a pot and were not blinded into it.

I use PO, too. It's probably just a matter of opinion which...

As others have said, opening means being the first one to voluntarily put money into the pot. It is a pretty old term; for example, five card draw was sometimes played "jacks or better to...

Re: 88 on the bubble ($11 FTP)

Lot's of fold equity? I read this as a) the button has been stealing a lot or b) he's tight enough to fold or c) you scare everyone. Based on stack sizes, I'd guess it's not (c). Based on the tourney...

I'm with you, honestly. What do you do, after making the mistakes, and he checks on the river? Do you still think AK?

Re: $27 PokerStars Turbo - How bad was this call?

Really, without any idea of Deleroxxu's range and your table image, it's tough to tell. But, 2's are not typically what you want to put your tourney life on the line with. You have 10 bbs, so I...

Re: [PS 16+1 (18)] I should have folded, but didn\'t:. Now what?

I also apologize for failing to post the second hand, but it was essentially a "did I bet too much" against what looked like two pair versus broadway on the river.

Re: [PS 16+1 (18)] I should have folded, but didn\'t:. Now what?

I'm curious: push versus that bet with Top pair, OK kicker? Why? I hadn't considered it, honestly, and don't know where to start. Would you read the bet as trying to take it down?
