Default $27 PokerStars Turbo - How bad was this call?

I was thinking that a coin-flip at this point was neccesary to get back in it. How bad a play was this?

Thanks....

Really, without any idea of Deleroxxu's range and your table image, it's tough to tell. But, 2's are not typically what you want to put your tourney life on the line with. You have 10 bbs, so I probably would have waited for a better opportunity.

Now, with the same hand I might have pushed the next guy, or even the guy after him. Your chances of taking down the blinds are very good, and you have an OK chance in a race.

In this case, you're covered, he's being aggressive, and you don't have much to improve on. Some of it depends on the two factors above (table image for you and him), but it starts out as a fold, in my opinion.

Bad. If you feel you have any advantage later in the tournament don't call here.

There is quite a few posts about how to play your low pocket pairs.
The best advice i found was here: http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/...te_id/1#import

low pairs are not great to call shoves with... you are almost never better than a coinflip...I think they're ok to push but I wouldn't like to stack off w/one

i've seen much worse calls blind on blind. unless the table was incredibly tough though, i'd probably just fold and look for a better spot and shove. you have 9 BB which is normally plenty of fold equity, and you can probably find a spot where shoving gives you better equity than calling here, even if you're just shoving any two in late position.

pretty ridiculous for him to berate you for it though. i hate people who do that unprovoked.

The call is vvv marginal if Dale is on 100% and a loser if he is not.

Dale : wtf is this chat ?

YOUR EQUITY VS HIS RANGE IS TERRIBLE. LEARN ICM. BUY SNGPT. THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS A TRIVIAL FOLD.

The other thing worth noting is that you have two short stacks to your left. I think you can find a better spot than this.
