Re: bottom set vs. broadway type cards on board

I would raise with your hand PF
raise turn.

As played, i would be calling this, there is only one hand you are worried about (J10) all the others you are beating.

Re: NL25, should I shot a second barrel here?

No,

Just check it down, try to get to the river as cheap as you can.

I would fold on the turn to any real strength.

Re: Pair and a flush draw - 25nl

Spew,

His turn bet commits him to the pot, he isnt folding anything.

Its a tough call for me because 90% he is shoving the river regardless what comes.

I really would like to call this but i...

Re: AK - please teach me when to fold

I think baluga applies here.

Careful with the turn raise, he wont be doing this with KJ often.

[ QUOTE ]
Minraise.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like this a lot, it seems to put the fear of god into people.

And you will also get more info from villain this way.

Re: 50 NL, TPNK, a spot for stupid mistakes?

Fold the flop.
Fold the turn.

Your hand is 10x worse then you think it is and 100x worse then villain thinks you have.

Re: Played AK to weak?

You need to pump it more PF, make him pay to play with hands like AJ or 87s.

On the flop you should take the lead and bet.

But please, RERAISE preflop.

Re: 25nl QQ on T K J flop facing huge bet

I think the flop bet was you trying to semi bluff.

Try this against one opponent in position but not against two and playing out of position.

Re: Facing 140bb+ Turn Shove

Bet more on the flop,

Call the turn.

Looking at the action, what card would you have preferred seeing come on the turn?(excluding the case J of course?)
Sure you wanted to buy the pot right...

Re: .25/.5 Two QQ hands vs same villain

First hand is good.

Second, Villain is showing MASSIVE strength, you need to abort.

Re: JJ, low board, facing reraise on the flop

Your PSB got you some information. He is telling you he can beat top pair with his raise. If you really want to play this spot, then call the flop and re-eval the turn(bit weak if you ask me)

Re: TPTK, am I missing value here?

I don't like the flop raise. Either make it like $7+, or call it. It kinda screams "I'm going for the B3B line," even though he didn't.

Raise turn.

Re: OC + 2nd nfd with lots of action

UTG is committed to the pot with his raise, you will be getting called here 100% of the time, so no fold equity from him.
