SB Play Diferences in Cash Games - depending on SB size LIMCASH

As an example, in the Stars
$2/4 blinds are 1/2 (let's call this "the usual" game)
$3/6 -------> 1/3 (tighter SB?)
$15/30 ---> 10/15 (looser SB?)
I believe Sklansky covered how to...

Re: Can you give me a basic Razz strategy, 25 words or less?

I thought I'd give this a try:

Raise three wheel cards, call 6-8's.
Steal if lowest in LP.
Fifth:fold if needing runner runner
Raise made hands
Sixth:fold if drawing dead.

Re: 3 low limit razz hands

I think Heads Up is a horrible way to learn Razz, for numerous reasons which I don't have time to get into.
Anybody care to differ?

Re: razz 50/100 where do i fold?

I think the hand was played fine. A reraise on 3rd probably still gets a call, even if villain was stealing, where he hopes to outflop or equal-flop on 4th, and still have the better board. 4th is a...

Re: semi-confusing razz hand

Is it because giving free cards is bad and you want to knock out seat 1 or 6 if 5th street paired them, with your vulnerable made hand? After the reraise and call, you know you are up against two...

Re: Razz: Defending with a 9 or 10 on 3rd

It seems like 9's and 10's are where the difficult choices come in. When catching good means 8 and under, and catching bad means catching paint. 9's and T's are often borderline, and you want lump...

Re: Razz hand - 1, 2 or 3 donkeys?

I would say Murray is not a donk and played correctly. Even betting on 6th, he's got very good equity if you and ILKKA both call, and is only a slight underdog to you alone.

I think 5th is a fold...

Re: Razz - Sandwiching a high card

Unfortunately, I don't. The site was Stars, is there a way I can get it or request it or if it's stored on my computer? I also know the Stars name of the villain here, who could be a forum member.......

Razz - Sandwiching a high card

I raise in EP, get reraised MP, and a Ten(not the bring-in) calls. (This is in 3/6.) Now it's back to me. I have a pretty decnt hand, something like A46, and I think MP probably has three to at least...

Re: QT bets into me in razz: call or raise

Say you do get heads up with your limp with a very strong hand. If you catch paint and the other guy catches good and bets, do you continue, even though the pot has not been raised even once? Or do...

Re: QT bets into me in razz: call or raise

It looks like some posts have gone missing (due to the new format)? I'm reposting what I posted earlier as I had it in notepad.

Great posts betgo.
1) Based on your description, I had presumed...

Re: razz, when to call with your K up

IIRC, Sklansky says you can almost never go wrong folding your bring in, if you have a face card, and the completion means you have to call a double bet, as in Stars 30/60, 3/6, 10/20. He does admit...

Re: Most basic of all- What is your system for remembering cards?

What about pen and paper? (I'm not being facetious here.)

Live players: do casinos have rules for Stud games not allowing this?

Presumably, on-line it's either OK or not enforceable to ban. So...

There is so much hand-waving nonsense here. Should I even bother?

Going back at least to the publication of HFAP weak players have misused the concept of pot-manipulation to justify...

Re: Razz: Sklansky\'s line about always peeling if 3rd gets reraised hu

You almost certainly should not call on 4th if it was a marginal call by you on 3rd after you were re-raised when trying to steal. IIRC, Sklansky says to fold a crappy-handed steal to a re-raise but...

Re: Razz past and present

I don't know, I did a comparison spreadsheet of the structures at various Razz limits on Stars. The 30/60 is the same structure as in the book. The 2/4 might also be considered high ante, while the...

Re: Razz: Sklansky\'s line about always peeling if 3rd gets reraised hu

Assuming you're heads up and you catch bad to your opponent's good:
If no re-raise on 3rd, then usually fold.
If re-raised more than once, always call.
If re-raised the one time, is the crux of...
