You already said that.
BTW why would you do anything but raise? |

Re: QT bets into me in razz: call or raise
Raise. Maybe the K2 will call 2 when he likely has a much worse 3 low. Maybe he'll fold and you'll get it heads up with what is at best a 3 card T. I would assume that your equity is quite a bit better if you are HU with the QT. I think your hand is just way too strong here to call. I was too lazy to twodimes any situations but I would be astonished if we didn't have a good equity edge if we take 5th HU or 3 handed and I would be fairly surprised if it wasn't better to be HU than 3 ways.

Re: QT bets into me in razz: call or raise
It looks like some posts have gone missing (due to the new format)? I'm reposting what I posted earlier as I had it in notepad.
Great posts betgo. 1) Based on your description, I had presumed it was SamEnole, and you've confirmed it. 2) Your rationale for limping is very solid. 3) Quick question for all: the sim says on 4th, if everyone stays in, betgo has 45% equity, versus 33% for the K and 22% for the QT. By knocking the K out with the raise and reraise, the equities become 61/39. So in one sense, SamE did good in knocking the K out and improving his own chance of winning (but I presumed, but could easily have been wrong, that the K didn't have great cards in the hole or he would have raised you on 3rd, so it was an easy fold; I did put in three cards under 8 in the sim for the King, but he may have had a 9 or even a T with two babies or worse to start with.) Anyhoo, is it better to have 45% equity versus two players assuming 3 bets go in all the time, or 61% heads up assuming 2 bets go in on each street? Intuitively, it would seem the former? 45%*3=1.35 versus 61%*2=1.22 Btw, do you think the 2 probably called with a mediocre or worse hand, getting the rights odds to call and try to outflop you, as Sklansky on Razz states? If he had hit a good card instead of the K, do you stay in or fold without investing any more in the small pot? |

Re: QT bets into me in razz: call or raise
I won't say who had QT, but it wasn't Samenole, who plays much better than that.
As for limping, I usually do it in situations like this where there are a bunch of low cards to act after me, and limping effectively improves my position on third street. |
