Any sites with decent hi-limit PLO/PLO8 action for US players?

I'm getting bored with bodog and stars and I never win on tilt, and I hate the fact that I don't get rakeback anywhere because I've had accounts at these sites for years. Are there any other (newer)...

Re: Great Security At The Taj (NOT!)

I had an opposite experience at the Borgata- While I was playing a big NL game, my girlfriend was playing 2/4 limit for fun. She was up over a rack of white chips and had them in a rack on the...

Re: 10-25 @ borgata

I've played in it a few times with mixed results, but overall it's a very good game. On average I would say it is a good mix of LAG's and TAG's, and one or two chasers or Loose/tight's. If you show...

Re: Atlantic City Hilton Saturday 14 $225+$25 tournament

This tourney was an absolute disaster. On our way in to AC, my friend heard on the radio about this tourney and said that players who finish in the money will be given entry into the $350 NJ...

Re: The decline of the Trop...

I can't believe this thread has gone this long without one mention of Bernie. I've been playing at the Trop off and on for about 5 years, and he always makes the game great, whether it be 5/10NL,...

Re: 50-100 calldown

I'm with the rest of the group- I hate the flop check. Maybe with AA or KK, but with JJ you're afraid of 15 cards falling (A, K, Q, T). That's too many possible scare cards to give a free card. I...

Re: 50/100 Deep

If your image is solid and not too tricky, I lead the river for value. I don't think you're beat here. V2 is on a good ten, overpair or J9/QJ and has to take your flop call seriously, but might pay...

Re: 10/15 nl Tropicana AC

Granted I'm the a-hole that folded a boat getting 3/1, but I have no problem with you calling the flop in this game. Your money is being made on the flop and turn as the whale is in there with any...

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

I'm glad you brought it up. In thinking about how this table played out over the next 5 hours, I actually think folding this hand face up when I'm pretty sure I'm ahead might've made more money than...

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

I offered him a green chip as he was leaving to tell me privately what he had. He wouldn't say what his hand was, only that he had me beat and he didn't understand how I could lay it down. Take it...

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

This is a bad analogy for so many reasons, the primary one being that he could easily raise in this position with just the Qd. With a turn raise he obviously has the Qd, but it's 45/1 that his other...

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

Very fast on the flop- maybe. Very fast on the turn- definitely. I'm fully admitting that I played this hand wrong on at least one street, and possibly two.

The point of me posting this (and I...

I figured this hand would receive this type of reception....

I'm not surprised that most of the people here have sided with the rest of the table in the "you're an idiot" department. I did however think there would be more people in the "go with your reads"...

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

Given his propensity for continuation bets after preflop raises, there's no way he checks any of those hands.

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

Very good point about leading out on the turn. In fact, leading out on the flop would've been ok also.

My thinking on just calling the 75 on the turn is that nobody had anything and at this point...

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

You're correct. If one thing was questionable, it was my turn play. My feeling was that I didn't want to lose him and felt he could've gotten away from aces there because he's a fairly tight...

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

I made at least a few $500-$800 calls with middle pairs on the river in this same game. I went with my read here. In no way am I scared money.

Re: 10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

I appreciate your opinion, but please give some reasons as to why you feel my thinking is incorrect?

Do you think he was bluffing $400 on the river in an $875 pot after I called $325 on the turn? ...

10/15 NL- opinions on this laydown.....

10/15 NL cash game (I know, wierd limit) at the Trop in AC. 7 players at the table, pretty much all of them ABC. My table image is tight. I'm in the big blind with 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2...

Re: bluff from 1k turbo

By definition, a calling station is someone who is not likely to be bluffed out of a pot. Good play against a normal opponent, but not against this guy. Unless you know for a fact he's capable of...

Re: Can someone check my math on this.... HU vs. HU shootout (4 player

Interesting analysis on the blog. Luckily, I win 100% of my matches so I make an extra $10/per match playing 4 man.

Is that roommate's work? Sorry, I don't know the folks around here too well....

Re: 3/6NL what\'s a better line on the flop/turn?

You could have folded the flop raise. You definitely could have checked behind on the turn. You're getting 2.25/1 to call when it's almost certain he has you beat, so the fold on the turn is good....

Can someone check my math on this.... HU vs. HU shootout (4 player)

I've been trying to decide which is better for me to play- HU matches or 4 player HU shootouts.

By my math, a 60% win rate across the board means you will play 16 total matches in 10 shootouts...
