Re: How do I bet on the yen vs. USD?
If you really want to make this bet, just open an online Forex account and go for it. Unfortunately, I think your expected payoff is extremely unlikely. Essentially you're saying you want to make...

NL25 AQ makes trips on flop
I'm not sure how to play this hand. I think I should have 3-bet preflop, but villain is 17/9. What should I do here? AK seems like the most likely holding for the villain given his stats and the...

Re: NL25; AQ turn shove
I think it looks fine. Don't post results though because it tends to bias the adivce you receive. I think you gave villain too tight of a range. You'll see hands like QJ, QT, JT, etc. sometimes,...

Re: NL25 TPMK on flop vs. checkraise
Oops, sorry, fixed my thread title. Do you worry that just folding here will induce people to just start taking random shots at you all the time?

NL25 QQ on AA4 flop
How's my line here? I'm not sure what to do with these flops. Any suggestions? Villain is fairly TAGish.

NL25 TPMK on flop vs. checkraise
What should my plan be here? I always get lost in these hands. BB is an aggressive TAG.

Re: 25NL: Flopped flush, unraised pot
I just go ahead and shove here. If you run into another flush then it's a cooler, but it's a fine play I think. You'll be ahead of some flushes anyway, like 76s, 65s, 54s, etc.

NL25 TPTK vs. min-bet/3-bet on flop
No reads at the time. I never know what to make of the min-bet/3-bet line. I usually just ignore the min-bet and treat the 3-bet just like a check-raise. Any thoughts on what to do?

Re: You block/I bluff
I like this play sometimes, but only when you have a decent read on the villain. Given the villain's stats and play, the most logical hands I think he would have would be QJ and JT. With those...

Re: 25NL: QJs Gets Min Raised
I never fold the turn. I might fold the river if BTN fires again with another big bet. I bet the flop 100% of the time though. You'll get a lot of hands better than yours to fold. Don't give them...

Re: TPTK against donk
I call and lead a non-diamond turn. I like doing this because people love playing hands like QJ, JT, J9, and if we 3-bet here I think CO can get away from those hands fairly easily. The call/lead...

NL25 TPTK On Flop vs. Huge Overbet
Not sure what to do here on the flop. The player is kind of loose and not overly aggressive, and I have not seen him do anything like this yet in my session. What would you do?

Re: 25NL FD in limped pot
I'm definitely firing that turn again for a couple of reasons. First, it's a scare card for him and most weak players immediately assume you just hit your ace. I think a 3/4 PSB will win 50% or...

Re: NL 25: Top 2 pair versus 2 loose players
Tough hand, I'm fairly certain you're going to see 33 here pretty often, but by the time you realize that you're already pot committed. I play it the same way, with the exception that I might 3-bet...

Re: 10NL - small blind dilemmas
In the situation you describe, almost everything I do is based on BB's play and stack size. Against unknown opponents, I play straight forwardly. I tend to be fairly tight preflop since we'll be...

Re: 50NL: Weird blind battle
No, not nitty really. That board is dry and it puts you in a bad spot. With the weird preflop action, I might try to c/c the flop and c/f the turn rather than lead out. On the flop, you're only...

NL 25 River Decision with 99

Re: 25NL set on low coordinated board
I definitely shove here. A few times you'll see overcards/2-pair, 33, a 6, whatever, and this will be highly profitable. I think sometimes you're going to see the made straight, but that's not too...
