Hi BBV
I dropped out of college at the end of May to become a professional poker player, because I'm such hot [censored] and jobs are for stable people, and hot [censored] is anything but stable

Re: 100NL: limp/reraise with KK, villian pushes
I think I'm just wording it in a confusing way
1. The active stack was 95bb or more
2. My opponent shoved all-in preflop
3. I called his all-in shove preflop
4. We were playing $100 NL on...

Re: 100NL: limp/reraise with KK, villian pushes
I meant SHOVE all-in preflop, I'm sorry
And only in hands that show up in my database with the went-to-showdown filter on, and yes I've called off and gone to showdown in that situation at least...

Re: trips from the blinds
lol this is such a complicated hand, so many different lines seem like they could be good to me
Just be glad you flopped trips, bet the flop, then hit random buttons after the turn

Re: QQ overpair deep, 100 NL
What about check-raising the flop and check-folding if he puts any more cash in?
Check-raising purely as a bluff with the tiny bonus of the small chance he would flat call and then check a losing...

Re: 100NL: limp/reraise with KK, villian pushes
In my past 40,000 hands at $100 NL FR, I haven't seen one person with a 95bb+ stack go all-in preflop without KK or AA. That's a very common misconception that people at smallstakes shove loose
At...

Re: trips from the blinds
Why bother calling the $10 on the turn if you're planning to check/fold on a blank river?
That only makes sense if you think there's a 20%+ chance of him checking behind on river and showing a...

Re: trips from the blinds
Yeah, I agree with blah-blah-blah's post
The flop call turn minraise would make my opinion of the villain drop a lot, which would make me think he'd raise the river with non-boat TX and AK
So...

Re: trips from the blinds
I like how you played this, I probably would've messed the river up a little
Your hand definitely has more than 50% equity going into the river, so a bet is probably correct
You bet small...

Re: QQ overpair deep, 100 NL
So what I'm looking to do with QQ overpairs in fullring is find the cheapest line I can use to figure out if there's a high probability of him holding AA/KK?
You think the cheapest way to do that...

Re: Re: Erica Nose Job
You think her nose looks that different because she's smiling?
I don't even know what to say to that, hahaha. It's clearly a nose job

Re: Stars 25-50 Shortstackers
Hello 2+2
Finally this subject is being put under the microscope. This has been long overdue to say the least.
