Definitely a good idea. Just go in knowing that it is possible that you may lose it all, however if you are right and the stock soars, then you will reap the benefits.

I like betting the turn an identical amount that the villain bet on the flop. For one, you control the pot size, and possibly get a free showdown on the river. But you make him pay to continue...

Not only do you have to make hands but you also have to control the pot size. Once the board pairs it's much easier / wiser to just check call.

There's nothing wrong with folding QQ here. Raising to 3.4x makes it a tad bit harder to fold. Since you are new and have no info and they have no info, your raise indicates strength vs a normal...
