I\'ve got 55.. is villain making a move? (millions)
1 hour into sunday millions. BB "squeezer" has been the most aggressive at the table. Possible a bit spewy, but nothing outrageous.

Generally wouldn't see a 3x raise for a squeeze, but I felt like he would be getting active in this spot often. Easy fold or possible jam here? |

Could be an interesting spot with quite a few hands here, but insta-fold 55 IMO. I think with 2 callers, his raise size and his stack this isn't a bluff.

If you push, you've got three people who could call you. You would be a coin flip at best and give a caller 2:1 on their money. More than one caller to your push and your really screwed. If you call and don't catch a 5 on the flop, what is your post flop plan?

Re: I\'ve got 55.. is villain making a move? (millions)
First thing that occurred to me while reading this is were there any special circumstances to this squeeze? Have you been especially active PF? Has the villain squeezed before? Has these other calling stations behind you been doing that often? And if so have you been mucking to reraises, cuz if so then you could of set them up for your resteal or what not.
But based upon how you describe it, since you made the mistake (IMO) of raising with 55 in MP2 in the first place it is an auto muck. I prefer more of a cat mouse type of play (in that position) with limp/fold being a somewhat common result. |
