Re: calldown oop with tiny pp.
I think this is fine. This looks like a bluff a lot and I'm not sure that many villans value bet 88 or 77 on the river, and surely he leads with an overpair on the flop?

Re: big draw - bad played?
In a limped pot I'm not so keen on a 3-bet all-in. It's a huge overbet, which is unlikely to be called by anything that we're a clear favourite over. Plus it looks a lot like a draw, or would you...

Re: Villain check-raises and checks again
Check. There are no draws so the flop looks like an ace or air testing your c-bet. You're way ahead or way behind (usually ahead).
So check turn for pot control, call a reasonable river bet. If he...

Flop quads, then get raised!
6-handed 200 NL. I have 200, opponent covers.
Opponent is a solid winning regular. He's fairly tight, though I've seen him raise c-bets with bare, non-nut flush draws.
I think he has exactly...

Re: 200NL- ugly spot with Tens
I check-call river, as I don't better hands fold or worse hands call (maybe 88-77 but that's pretty narrow).
I'm very tempted to call the minraise. It's air or a monster most likely, and I can't...

Re: This is a push, right?
I think it's a push.
That way you fold out better flush draws and have some FE against the raiser.
If you call and hit a flush the BB will probably shut down, so I really don't think you have...

Clumsy AK priced in on turn (200NL 6-Max)
I don't know the villan, but he seems solid enough. He's lost a few pots and has been grumbling in the chat, but that may not be significant. I won a big pot when he 3-barrelled a low board and I...

Big Ol\' Draw 200NL 6-Max
I froze up on the turn when he made a weak bet.
Button has 310, I cover. He's seen me reraise preflop with AK and then get all-in on the turn unimproved on an 8-high board. Don't know if that's...

Re: Whats the best line to take here?
In my experience, this is an overpair close to 100% of the time. He's trying to protect his hand by making CERTAIN that he gets at least a couple of folds because he's afraid of overcards falling.

I call here against an unknown, pretty much instantly, just today I saw this line from 7h-7.

OESD in reraised pot 100NL 6-max
Villan is a regular. I'm pretty sure he'll reraise light with position, but being OOP probably narrows his range.
Villan has 120BBs, I cover.
Best flop line? Comment on preflop too if you want....

Re: 77 with bottom set
I just shove. If he's on a draw, you risk him checking behind a blank turn. Push now and you protect your hand and he's more likely to stack off with a draw.
