Me and my friend disagree on my river shove..

Villain is 35/6/.9, he seems pretty terrible overall.

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $7, 2 folds, BB calls $5.

Flop: ($15) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $10, BB calls $10.

Turn: ($35) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $44, Hero calls $44.

River: ($123) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $22, Hero raises to $527.7

What do you think of a shove if

A) Villain checks
B) Villain bets $80

i think you played this fine. i like the shove. i would probably be more inclined to call if he bet $80, not sure why though.

If his aggression factor is right you are toast!

I just call river to see what he is doing. Inducing a reraise maybe??

this is reasonable. Probably because donks usually let you know where they are with the size of their bets. I doubt he bets 22 into a ~120 pot on the river w/ a hand that beats us.

This push is fine. A .9 will call with so many random hands that we have crushed. Look at his river bet size relative to his turn bet, I think he has a better hand ~never here

Not to sound ignorant or anything, but do we even need to think about it? I don't usually think about what hands donks are gonna call me with. Donks are donks, and they do irrational things. This could be a leak but I don't know.

If you were talking about shoving over the $80 bet then it gets closer.
