$2.2 Playing monster SB vs BB

All streets can be commented. I just complete SB because BB is pretty loose in calling raises PF. The plan was to bet flop even if I don't hit because post flop villain seemed to be folding more...

Re: $2.2 TPTK on the bubble

[ QUOTE ]

just a quick thought - it seems to me that you are fearing the bubble too much. try thinking about volume moreso than trying to break every tournament

$2.2 TPTK on the bubble

SB seems to be a tight player which is rare at these stakes.

Should we push turn even though it's bubble against the chip leader? How was the hand played on other streets?

Ultimate Bet No-Limit...

Re: 16 stars - flopped str8 on bubble 3 flush board

Push flop? Don't want to give villain the chance to make a semibluff in this awkward bubble situation. He is not
calling with just a flush draw but might call with 2 pair (which would be good for...

Re: $2.2 Stop and go

Would it be better if we had slightly bigger stack so that the push would be closer to pot-size on the flop?

I don't often use stop and go but in this situation I thought I needed to do something...

$2.2 Stop and go

Do you like this stop and go? Villain has opened a lot of pots preflop, especially from button... I might get some better aces like A9-AJ to fold on some flops (at least
against bad players)? Well...

Re: $2.2 Playing with ~15BB stack

Yes, that is the problem here. 2.5BB raise is getting called/pushed too often. And if called, we really can't afford to make a C-bet.

So, should we just fold? But that seems kind of too tight....

$2.2 Playing with ~15BB stack

Stack sizes around 15BB are difficult to play. It's a little
too deep to push, but there's no room for proper post-flop
play. And when we got a decent but not great hand, how
should we play? Like...

Re: $2.2 Two pair/3 flush on board

Do we have enough chips to bet/fold?

If opponent flat calls our bet, check/call river?

$2.2 Two pair/3 flush on board

Ok, on the turn we have 2 pair in a 3-way pot, but potential flush on board. Should we bet and commit ourselves in the hand or check-fold?

I am always little unsure how to play these kind of...

Re: $1.1 Straight, 3 clubs on board

MP has not done anything special so far. He has not been overly aggressive so I assume he has something when he raises. He doubled up when he had TPGK (AJ) with his opponent having top pair+flush...

$1.1 Straight, 3 clubs on board

I am confused how to play these kind of situations.

If I decide that I want to continue with the hand, I should
push, but then I have actually given villain correct
implied odds on the flop to...

$1.1 Two pair from BB

1st post. How did I play this hand? I tried to take the pot on the flop (some people do fold even at this low buy-in). Then I hit two pair on the turn:
