The problem with that turn card is... that smaller bet sizes invite a raise while larger bet sizes give value to several possibly...

Hm. Well, with c/r-ing you're able to take down a pot against lesser hands instead of being in a difficult situation OOP or paying off AK/AQ which might hit their pair later on.

He's paying 18.75 to win 18.75+18.75+14+2.5 which is 18.75/54. So you need two win 34.7% of the time. Against a 22, 44, 99 you're likely to win 25.56%....

I actually had a similar situation with top two on a J10Xdiamond board, and I was too attached to my top two to fold to a check-raise.
I would think that Villain would be willing to re-raise...
