Results: Final pot: $27.75 I don't know if I played this correctly on any street. On the turn, if a no overcards or a heart fell, should I be calling another bet here? When you get 3 bet PF in spots like this, what kind of odds do you need to be getting to call for set value. I've heard everthing from 8-20 to 1 on the $. Should I play JJ for set value against this PF action, or should have I made a stab at the pot on the flop? |

I think you are too passive. I either lead or c/r against standard villain.

Re: UTG JJ getiing 3 bet PF
Hm. Well, with c/r-ing you're able to take down a pot against lesser hands instead of being in a difficult situation OOP or paying off AK/AQ which might hit their pair later on.

[/ QUOTE ] You also donate when villain has a higher pair (majority of the time in this situation). b/f flop OR c/c flop, c/f turn are both fine IMO. OP, read up on the 5-10 rule in regards to calling w/ PPs for set odds. |
