Re: NL50 - AA on a paired flop

A similar situation happened to me recently. MP raised and the sb limped, as did I from BB with 33. SB then open-pushed the flop on a K38 board with two clubs. I hit bottom set so the call was easy...

When to call an obvious value bet

25 NL

First orbit at the table but Villain already showed down trash.

Getting 4.67:1 on the river bet. Should you usually be calling this down given the action and board? The flop bet and turn...

Those juicy games better be worth it.

I am deeply missing Neteller. I took for granted how convenient it was.

Just signed up to Pacific and they have me jumping through hoops. Tried to deposit via e-check and was declined because my...

Requesting some help re Canadians/Neteller

Hello,

I recently became aware of the Neteller situation for Canadians. Now I have already created accounts at other e-wallets to deal with this unfortunate event. However, is it still safe, or...

Such an easy fold...right?

Villain was 24/16/5 but only 20 hands.

My reasoning for the fold is that I hardly beat anything within a 3 betting range. Lose to KK, AA. Lose to 88, 99. Only beat AK (which I don't see him...

Re: Bottom set very drawy board. Use caution or shove it in?

Ever right to not raise it pf? Or ever right to just flat call, despite all the draws?

On flop, I did raise to $15 and got rr all in. Unfortunately he had nut straight, oh well...

Bottom set very drawy board. Use caution or shove it in?

UTG+1 is donking off tp all the time, already stacked him with another set about 10 hands earlier. BB just sat down, my stats on him are 36/22/2.4 over 80 hands.

Stack Sizes
BB $31
UTG+1 $10...

Re: Crypto full of rocks?

I don't know if its throughout all limits but at 25NL there was no rake below .75 I think. Now pennies are shaved off almost every pot starting at .50. So three limpers pf used to be .75, now its...

Re: Crypto full of rocks?

I also noticed a big change starting yesterday at Crypto. I usually play the 25NL micros and the amount of tables has dropped off significantly. Maybe because of the rake structure change???

Re: 50NL- Bet sizes with top set

Overall looks fine.

Did you notice villain calling down big bets before? If so, tend to bet more. Flop and turn are good, I may have bet more on the river as it seems villain has something decent....

BB gets lucky with junk

Very first hand at the table. What range do you put this villain on? Keep in mind he limped it UTG.

I stoved the hand afterward with many possible cases ranging from 10-50% VPIP and my worst...

Re: Facing HUGE overbet on drawy flop

I figured it was worth a call. Therefore, I won't say what I actually ended up doing /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Facing HUGE overbet on drawy flop

I haven't faced this type of situation before and it really caught me off guard. What do you think? This is 25NL.

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif...

Re: NL50, well...my AA got raised on the turn...

Fold. He's not doing this with just a pair given his stats and the action so far.

Re: Do you ever call here?

Thanks everyone. I definitely did call and caught the flush card on the turn.

Villain had top set. When I stoved that one hand i had ~33% equity so I was taking the worst of it in that particular...

Do you ever call here?

Villain is 30/20 over only 20 hands or so. No reads, but he has been fairly aggressive against me in two other hands.

.15/.25 NL

I cover villain. Stacks around $25.
Preflop

Re: AK in blind battle at 6 max $50NL

You 3bet him OOP, a good show of strength, and he still reraises. It is AA/KK almost always.

Nice hand.

Re: Top set on a flushing flop...what the best move?

1) He flat calls...

2) He pushes...

If turn is 4th heart or K, Q, should I give it up unless its a small bet?

I think call a flop push, right?

Thanks.

Top set on a flushing flop...what the best move?

4th hand at table, no reads. I think I'm ahead on the flop most times but how do I protect my hand and maximize EV?

Preflop

UTG raises to $1
MP reraises to $1.75
HERO reraises to $5...

Re: 50NL 6max: AK makes TPTK on turn. Did I act correctly?

I think this is trips all day long. Has B minraised anything else before?

After your turn bet, I think you can eliminate TP from his range. I would fold to this raise. Can't see that we are ahead...

Re: Yeah! Made set of Q\'s on turn--But also 4 to a straight. :(

1) No

2) *I thought this would be easy fold but I crunched numbers and turns out to be +EV. Someone please correct this if it wrong.

You are ~4:1 against making the FH on the last card.

If...
