Re: 10/25 deep 4bet pot big draw

what is his stack size?

Assuming he has ~ the same as you, I'm pushing here every time. He could trying to get a free turn card by taking control of the hand with the minraise, which could...

Re: 15/30 sh

check calling the river is the best for sure. it would have been better to 3-bet the turn than c/r the river because it seems clear TeamMCO is drawing.

Re: do you make this flop call knowing youre behind.....

And if you just call the flop and hit, you lose your market on the turn because it's obvious you have spades. You have to get the money in on the flop if you're going to continue with this hand.

Re: do you make this flop call knowing youre behind.....

Just calling is awful. How can you call off over 2/5 of your remaining stack? This is either a push or fold. I prefer the push -- that extra $250 in the pot gives you good value on your nut flush...

Re: 8/16 Live Pair of 4s

Four-bet the river if you can. AA is out of the question as he would have three-bet the turn. QQ is unlikely since he's leading out with that A on board. Villain almost certainly has AQ.

Re: Derby Days $2500 Event @ Canterbury

I've played in those Wed. tourneys and that is not tournament NLHE. The structure is a joke and the players are for the most part pretty weak. Any info about the size of the field for this?

Re: So I 5bet all in....

You're just pushing and praying villains dont wakeup with KK or AA in these two hands. Fine tournament plays but why force this kind of action at a soft cash game?

Re: 5/10 Set on Bad Board

100bb for you both? I'm folding. even if you call and hit one of your 10 outs you're going to have to lead out on the river and I dont see villain calling w/ an ace

Re: Interesting Hand 1k NL

i dont believe 2p2er #1 folded K high flush here. To me a low flush is more likely for 2p2er #2. Also I think #1 would have raised the flop with spades in case he needs a free turn.

Derby Days $2500 Event @ Canterbury

Anyone else playing in this? How big has the field been in years past?

It's worth the trip just for the juicy 15/30 and 30 60 games, but what is the quality of play like in these tournaments? MN...

Re: AA 250 BB effective stacks in monster pot.

MAYBE check on the flop if you have position to induce a bluff on the turn. But if he checks behind, you have to bet the turn. You just gave him a chance to catch up, plus you missed a bet. I...

Re: AA 250 BB effective stacks in monster pot.

I don't see why you'd want to give a free card here. You are getting action with a big pair on that flop if you bet 1/2-3/4 of the pot.

Re: AA 250 BB effective stacks in monster pot.

This is really a great flop for your hand. Bet $300 and you will likely get action from TT, JJ or QQ or possibly even a lower pair. Under no circumstances would I fold here if you're raised. AK is...
