You're just pushing and praying villains dont wakeup with KK or AA in these two hands. Fine tournament plays but why force this kind of action at a soft cash game?

You're just pushing and praying villains dont wakeup with KK or AA in these two hands. Fine tournament plays but why force this kind of action at a soft cash game? [/ QUOTE ] LOL PLEASE. If villain has a wide 3bet range, you do realise that only 0.9% of his range is AA or KK. When they call we still have 20% equity which means that when called we only lose approximately .67 of a buyin. Everytime they fold we gain .2 of a buyin. As long as their 3-bet range is larger than around 3.2% then it's +EV (if they only call AA / KK). If you add QQ, their range has to be closer to 5% and adding AK further increases their required range. If this is the first time you have done this, or have previously done it and shown AA, then the profitability is massive. Anyone saying "ZOMG THIS IS FUXING PUKE BAD" is either playing against guys that raise a narrow range and calling all of it or really don't understand the implications of a play like this based against someone with an aggressive range. |
